Independent case study

Zhuangxu Interactive created this guide using public Scout 20 specifications, product photographs and the manufacturer’s assembly guide. Sun Bicycles has not commissioned, authorised, reviewed or endorsed this project. It is not an official brand manual.

Model scope and physical assembly

The model is not based on manufacturer CAD or a complete physical survey. Unpublished dimensions, shapes, clearances, cable lengths and hidden mechanical structures include photo-based estimates. Animation illustrates spatial relationships; it does not verify fastening forces, braking performance or physical fit.

Public reference dimensions include a 34.3-inch wheelbase, 20-inch wheels, 72° seat tube angle, 69° head angle and 4.5-inch cranks. Internal display parameters, including a 46 mm chainline, are estimates and must not be used as manufacturing dimensions.

The model follows the two-bolt handlebar faceplate in assembly guide figure 14. Other product versions may use different parts. Check the actual bicycle and its corresponding instructions.

For physical assembly, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific product and version. A qualified bicycle technician should check parts, minimum insertion marks, tightening torques and brakes. Do not assemble or repair a bicycle using only this model, its animations or guide responses.

Still renders and live 3D

Images labelled Blender Cycles are offline still renders. The live WebGL viewer loads an actual 3D model and supports rotation, zoom, part focus and stage changes. Lighting, materials, shadows and detail differ between the two renderers. Still images do not represent verified live rendering performance.
